The the Consumer Electronic Show, or CES for short, will be held in Las Vegas Friday through Sunday, this year. Apple will not attend the convention this year. 3D TVs that came out last year are expected to be more popular this year because of lower prices and more comfortable glasses. Toshiba is in the process of making a 3D TV that you won't need glasses for, but they have only made a prototype. There are most likely going to be more slates there this year because of Apple's new Ipad.
