Steve Jobs was orphaned by his unmarried mother, Mona Simpson, after he was born. He was adopted by Carla and Paul Jobs. Steve's father was very interested in technology so he would practice in the garage. So that sparked Steve's interest in technology, so he dropped out of high school and went to work at Apple Computers. Later he was fired from the company he started (Apple). Eleven years later he became the CEO. In 2003 he learned that he had pancreatic cancer. Steve had a successive operation in 2004. He invented the ipod and is happily living with his wife and 3 kids. Palo Alto, California.
