Steve Jobs Rachel

I have learned that Steven Paul Jobs was born in February of 1955. His biological parents put him up for adoption. His adopted parents names are Clara and Paul Jobs, who gave him his name. When he was 27 he finally found out more about his biological parents. When he was a boy, he and his dad would work on electronics in the garage. This is how Steve first came to love electronics.
In school, Steve was the prankster and was constantly getting in trouble, but he was academically inclined. He was so smart his teachers wanted to skip him into high school, but his parents declined. In high school he befriended Steve Wozniak, a computer guru. After high school Jobs enrolled at Reed College in Portland, Oregon. He dropped out of college after 6 months, but he came to drop in on creative classes.
He loved typography and later worked as a video game designer with Atari. At the age of 21, in 1976, Jobs and Wozniak created Apple Computers. They are known for computers so they were smaller, cheaper, and affordable.
Their first computer was successful, but the next several products from Apple suffered significant design flaws resulting in recalls. IBM started selling more than them and soon Apple had to compete for sales with them. In 1984, Apple released the Macintosh. Soon the company began to phase him off because Scully thought he was hurting Apple.
Steve Jobs bought an animation company from George Lucas, which he later named Pixar. He then worked with Disney and created Toy Story.
J obs went back to work with Apple and earned $1 a year and helped put Apple back in track. In 2003 he found out he had a tumor but he kept postponing surgery which made the board nervous. In 2004 he had surgery which went successfully.
In recent years, Apple has introduced the Macbook Air, iPod, and iPhone. In 2008 iTunes became the second biggest music retailer in America. Because of all the sales of iPods and music, Apple has been rated number 1 in America's Most Admired Companies. Early in 2009, Jobs had many issues to deal with including a liver transplant.
When he was 23, he and his girlfriend had a daughter. His girlfriend received custody and Jobs was not involved in her life until she was seven. However, when she was a teen, she came to live with him. Jobs then married in 1991 and currently live in Palo Alto, California with their 3 children.
