Steve Jobs - Vanna Prestage
Steve Jobs was born on February 24, 1955, and his parents sent him up for adoption as a child. He was adopted by Clara and Paul Jobs. When he was young, him and his dad would work on electronics in his garage. When he was in elementary school, he was a prankster and he was bribed to study. He also got pulled up to high school early. He spent his free time at Hewlett-Packard where he met Steve Wozniak and they became good friends. After 6 months, he dropped out of college and spent the next 18 months dropping in on creative classes. In 1974, Jobs became a video game designer with Atari. When he was 21 in 1976, him and Wozniak started Apple Computers. Jobs resigned as Apple's CEO to begin a new hardware and software company called NEXT. He also purchased an animation company the following year which later became Pixar Animation Studios. In 1997, he went back to be Apple's CEO when they bought the Pixar company. In 2003, Jobs found out the he had a neuroendocrine tumor which is a form of pancreatic cancer. In 2009, some people predicted that Jobs's health issue had returned which included a liver transplant. He responded by saying he was dealing with a hormone imbalance. Jobs had a girlfriend named Chrisann Brennan and they had a daughter when he was 23. In court documents, he denied paternity of his daughter, claiming he was sterile. They never had a close relationship until she was 7, but when she was a teenager, she came to live with her father. In early 1990s, Jobs met Laurene Powell at Stanford business school. They married on March 18, 1991, and have three kids. The are currently living in Palo Alto, California.
