Some of the information looks truthful but you can't be sure because some other news site may be telling you something else.
The earthday.net website was last updated on January 27, 2011. The information is incomplete because most of it is pictures and videos and there is not much information about what is going on. I think the information is trustworthy. Its just that you could never tell the truth from a lie on the internet.
