Megan: Proofreading

Proofreading: to read in order to detect and mark errors to be corrected

The definition of proofreading basically means to read over the work to see if there are any errors or mistakes that spell check can not identify. For example if you were writing a paper and you meant to say from but instead put form, the spell check would not say it was misspelled because form is a word. So you would need to proofread it to make sure you would not make a mistake like that.
